Adaptive Abilities Cheer

Wave, Team Canada 2025: Adaptive Abilities Unified - Advanced Coed

LCA is proud to compete in the Adaptive Abilities Unified Advanced Coed Division—a space where athletes with and without disabilities perform together at the highest level of international cheerleading. This division is all about inclusion, athleticism, and breaking barriers through the power of sport.

In 2025, our incredible team had the honour of representing Team Canada at the ICU World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida. We brought home a silver medal, a reflection of the strength, dedication, and unity of our athletes. Last season, we welcomed athletes from across Nova Scotia, and this year, our roster proudly includes team members from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI! This team is more than just competitive—it’s a chance to be part of something meaningful, challenging, and truly special.

The Road Ahead:

We're just getting started. The first step in our 2025–2026 journey is once again earning the title of Team Canada, followed by returning to the ICU World Championships, where we’ll compete against the best adaptive teams from around the globe.
